Tumbling & Parkour For Teens
Tumbling, Flipping & Parkour Training For Teens
In the early 2000s, martial artists, gymnasts, and tumblers begin exploring fresh, exciting styles of movement. The resulting styles came to be known as tricking, parkour, and freestyle tumbling, which often attracted teen and college-age practitioners.
The problem was that many facilities were not receptive to this type of training, preferring traditional styles like gymnastics and cheerleading. This left a gap in the market.

While many facilities have come around in the 2020s, plenty still do not offer classes or open gyms for these age groups. At NeoMotion, we offer teen training opportunities and plan to expand these to adult offerings soon!
What To Expect
What To Expect In Our Teen Classes
Our teen classes are structured differently from our kid ninja classes:
1. Higher Emphasis on Fitness - Every teen class includes ample conditioning, sometimes with kettlebells and plyo boxes, sometimes with body weight exercises. We keep it fresh! In doing so, we teach our teens that strong bodies and minds make it much easier to accomplish your goals in life.

2. More Skills, Fewer Courses - While we give our teens the option to practice vaults and jumps, most prefer to spend time working on trampoline and floor skills (think flips, kicks, twists). The obstacle courses are much more challenging for the younger students and tend to lose their novelty relatively quickly for the teens.

3. More Partner Activities & Free Time - We all know it can be tough to make friends during the teen years. Thus, we like to include opportunities for partner drills and free time, so students can get to know each other more. This allows for social benefits in addition to the physical and mental.
Our founders trained together for over 10 years before starting NeoMotion and have made flipper friends all over the country. Whether your teen is looking to learn flips, get stronger and more confident, or a place to meet new friends, we'd love to show you how our classes roll!
